Planning benefit

  • The aluminium block window construction has been tested and certified in accordance with DIN 1627-1630 (burglar resistance), DIN EN 1522-1523 (bullet resistance) and DIN EN 13123-2 | DIN EN 13124-1 (blast resistance). The window has also been tested with up to 500 kg of explosives and with a long pressure duration (up to 2 seconds).
  • No screw fixing required for the glass retention beads, so no impact on appearance.
  • Various design options tested.
  • Always identical face widths, even with different resistance classes and combinations.
  • Natural glazing rebate ventilation and controlled drainage as no bonding is required for the glass.
  • High security window tested in accordance with the structural performance properties of DIN EN 1435-1 and CE certification.
  • Heavy vent weights possible; side-hung fittings up to 350 kg permitted, bottom-hung and turn/tilt fittings up to 200 kg.
